EASTPORT BREAKWATER GALLERY TO PRESENT GROUP SHOW “SOMETHING FISHY IN EASTPORT”
The Eastport Breakwater Gallery will present a group show called
“Something Fishy in Eastport”. This show focusing entirely on Fish will begin on August 3, with an Opening Reception 5:00 to 7:00 on the same day.
Fish created from pottery, glass, painting, sculpture, folk art and underwater photography will be shown. Artists included in the show are Blue Moon Clay Carves, Val Feehan ,Cynthia Morse, M.M. Morse and Royane Moseley.

Rob has always enjoyed visiting beautiful places. Many locations here in our own area and others he has found in his travels including Montana, South Carolina and other parts of the country.“I find the colors of the finished photos to be of more interest to me than the subject matter.” By using the warm tonal qualities of sepia, Rob’s images take on a soothing and nostalgic quality. Eastport Breakwater Gallery to present “THE BOAT SHOW”.
A Group Show of Coastal Artists.
The “Boat Show” includes six artists from Maine and New Brunswick with a focus on boats and boating. Vessels of all kinds will be depicted in paintings, drawings, photography and folk art. Artists include Royane Mosley, Christine Sullivan, Jerome Andrews, Rob Derry, Ted Michener and Michael Morse. Please come to join us on Friday evening, August 4th at 4:00 to see these new works and enjoy some refreshments.

EASTPORT BREAKWATER GALLERY PRESENTS “MERMAIDS”
The Eastport Breakwater Gallery will be presenting a new show about those mystical and sometimes mischievous creatures: MERMAIDS! The show will include new encaustic works from Helene Farrar, 3-dimentional works from Elizabeth Ostrander and mixed- media pieces from M. M. Morse. Show opens on August 30, 2016. All are welcomed to a reception on August 5, 5:00 to 7:00. The show will run to the end of September. The Breakwater Gallery is located at 93 Water Street, Eastport.

New to the Gallery is Val Feehan and her underwater photos off the shores of Eastport. Mysterious plants and animals deep in the cold waters of our bay. Veteran Gallery Artist Rob Derry will partner with Val with his colorful photos of nautical scenes in the area above the water.
“BEACHCOMBING” Art Inspired by the Sea Press Release
Eastport Breakwater Gallery presents a unique show: “BEACHCOMBING” Art Inspired by the Sea by Marlys Farn-Guillette. Come to see this exceptional Raku fired pottery encrusted with treasures from the sea. Barnacles, bits of ceramic and other beach finds are incorporated into distinctively glazed vessels. Marlys has created beautiful, one of a kind vases and bowls that will remind you of the bay.
Opening reception is Friday, September 4th, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at 93 Water Street, Eastport. Refreshments will be served. Show continues through September.
