Tim Gaydos works in watercolor, acrylics, and pastels. He has been a master pastelist with the Pastel Society of America since 1987. He has had solo exhibitions at The Montclair Art Museum, the Bergen Museum and the University of Maine and has received more than 100 awards, most notably the American Watercolor Society Gold Medal of Honor. In 2006, the New Jersey State Council of the Arts awarded him a Fellowship Grant for painting. Recently Tim completed four murals for Light Rail Station, Bayonne, N.J. and two murals for Morristown Train Station, Morristown, N.J. He spends his summers in Lubec, Maine and favors painting the rough terrain of the Bold Coast and Campobello. He also paints local local cityscapes, working boats and architecturally interesting historic buildings.
